I was graduated in Technical Engineering (3 years program) at Polytechnic School of Albacete (Castilla La Mancha University) in 2001. Then, I continued my studies at Carlos III University of Madrid getting the degree of Mechanical Engineering (5 years program) in 2003.

In 2004 I get a PhD fellowship (in 2005 I was appointed Teaching Assistant) in the Thermal and Fluid Engineering Department under the supervision of Dr. D. Santana. In 2008 I finished my PhD in Mechanical Engineering entitled "Particle-fluid dynamics and solid ejection in fluidized beds", which was focused on the study of fluidized beds hydrodynamics using both experimental and numerical (CFD) techniques.

Since 2008 I am working as PhD Teaching Assistant in the Applied Mechanics Department of the Engineering School of Albacete (Castilla La Mancha University), were I continue my teaching activities in different areas: heat transfer, thermodynamics, renewable energies, internal combustion engines, etc. My research activities are mainly carried out in the facilities of the Renewable Energy Research Institute of Albacete. My main research lines are focused on

  1. Fluidized beds: Particle and fluid dynamics, elutriation and entrainment, bubble size distribution CFD...
  2. Energy storage: Development of new storage systems using Micro Phase Change Materials (MPCM)
  3. Moving beds filters and heat exchangers: Application of moving bed for filtration and heat recovery in gasification processes
  4. Multiphase flow
  5. Solar energy
  6. Dry of power transformer: Modelling the humidity diffusion in the pressboard of power transformers
